whats happening with that site on the way out of belfast?
Is it definitely a filling station? I heard it was going to be a weigh-bridge?
Anyone know why they've stopped work at it?

It's the new Applegreen service station.
This site will keep you up to date.

Built in the wrong place imo, those two lanes of the motorway are crammed full of 70mph+ cars from half four on,
all you need then is some braindead lane-hopper deciding at the last minute to move across from the fast lane to fill up.0

Ok, its a Fast Overtaking Lane..
 or a `Cotta` lane was it??0

It's the fast lane, it's not practical for everyone to be driving along the slow lane on a two lane motorway.0

Right, ok Cotta, lets follow this scenario then..
you are heading out of town towards Lisburn on the motorway at approx 5pm, its busy, very busy, the two lanes are full,
as per usual you`ll be blasting along on the outside `cotta` lane cos thats where the action is, as you`ve said before that inside lane is far too slow for Cotta,
now tell us all, what do you do when you see this new filling station coming up over on your left and your gauge is below the empty mark, ... or you`ve taken a sudden fancy for a ninety-nine??
any idea at all what your next maneuver would be??0

Next move would be Clogher, have you tried the 99s there?? Unreal!!
I have tried to stay on the slow lane but one tends to get nowhere, it's jammed and there is this beautiful fast lane there going begging. I do sound the horn at anyone on the fast lane going below 70 mph, this is a nuicance.0
