Would you switch now?

Not sure if i should stay on the deal i have with EDF. Price freeeeeeze march 2017. I normally spend £70 a month, made up of £45 electric and £25 gas.

Thoughts?

  • Using a comparison site, first utility come out around £100 cheaper but that deal is until 2016 with an exit fee...

    Also register with energy club on money.co.uk who have just negotiated bulk purchase discount with Eon. This is the cheapest deal around for me but my usage is substantially more than yours and you might be better off with lower standing charges

    PS what are your exit charges like? From 42 days before the termination of your current tie in - so presumably mid Feb, you can exit without charges
