Trying to rack my brain but I can't think of any part of Ibiza that doesn't have Brits abroad. Don't think Portinax is for you definitely no waterpark, very quiet only hotels, a few bars and restaurants and the beach.0

We got avios flights to granada this summer from London City. We stayed in a fabulous local village, velez de benaudalla, we paid £600 for 12 nights in July for a 3 bed 2 bath apartment with shared pool. 15 mins drive to the beach, 40 mins to granada and a short walk to lots of tapas bars which the kids loved. Granada is also a bee quiet airport, 5 mins to get bags!!!0

If you do go to St eulalia two boat trips worth doing are the one to Ibiza town, really nice coming in towards the old town from the sea, and the other to Formrntera, a full day out and beautiful beaches there and some well weathered old hippies0

Thank you everyone. After much thought, we have booked Avios flights elsewhere for next summer. Managed to get Business class one way as well. Very pleased.:D
Appreciate everyone's input.
Haven't ruled out Ibiza for the future though.0 -

Santa Eulalia would be perfect if you like somewhere a bit upmarket and cosmopolitan. Avoid Es Cana, San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa. Portinatx is picturesque but very small and isolated. If you are relying on public transport, I would avoid this area of the island. July is very busy which is why we don't go at this time, although the same is true of nearly everywhere. I hope you do get to Ibiza some time, as it is a magical place, and the only place which draws me back every year.
Thank you Ibiza fan. It's good to get from tips from someone who is a regular visitor. Much appreciated.0 -

Me too, but I don't find the football shirt wearing Brits fraternity frequent france at all, unless you stay near a supermarket in Calais .0 -

Ibiza fan, out of interest, what would you say was the best time to go to Ibiza? A couple of friends and I, have still to arrange our annual girls trip away. We normally go June or beginning of October'- out of school holidays, so normally get cheap flights and cheaper accomadation.0
