Moving away from Sky

Hi all,
I've had enough of Sky taking excessive amounts of money and not actually receiving the goods I'm paying for (signal keeps cutting out, programs not recording when they should, fibre broadband running at 0.5mbps instead of 15mbps).
I want to move to BT or TT but I wanted to know if it would cost me to move away from Sky?

It will if you are still within your minimum contract period.
If not there should be no charge to leave providing you give the required notice to quit0
