    I want a machine ....in a silver/graphite colour

If you are on a really tight budget, is the colour really that important ? You are restricting your search quite considerably, and probably eliminating many of the cheapest options, by not considering white
  • If you are on a really tight budget then ask your local washing machine repair place whether they have any reconditioned machines for sale. We've just had excellent service from our local repairer who sold us a Bosch machine.
  • When my Electrolux blew up after 4 years of daily use I bought a reconditioned Bosch. It's quite basic but does the job.
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

I would have thought "light usage" would be once or twice a week. I suppose its all relative.

If you are single and don't change your bedding every week maybe.

2 people normal clothes will be a wash and another for sundries like bedding towels,

A big load machine might be able two weeks worth at a push bust most big loads are not as big as they say on the front for most washes.
