  • That's the thing people don't think about this when they use poison to kill or rats or mice. They eat the poison, die under your floorboards or in roof etc then you get infested with blue bottles.
The one time I had mice in my old (rented) house yeas ago I use the live humane box traps and then took the mice to my local fields/ allotments.
It is a hassle, but better than getting infested with flies!

We once had a rat that lived behind the Aga, we used to spend our evenings encouraging it to leave but we were unsuccessful. We ended up getting rid if the Aga as each Autumn they would come in as they could feel the warmth (well according to the rat man).

When we got rid of it, we never had any other infestations.

Think it means should be buying whichever of those is not the Diet Coke Caffeine Free, together with a Coca Cola "Life" on a Morrisons comparison. If that works, makes them around 47.5p each, which is 'good' for Coca Cola, but still more expensive than CBY Cola or even S/P Cola:rotfl:. Not available to Northern Ireland comparisons:(.

How is it that JJ gets a hug and I get

    1. Perhaps it's a polar bear under your floorboards.

    2. Check to see if they have red eyes

    3. Open all the windows and let the daddy long legs in.

    4. Could be dead rats either, in the loft or under the floorboards

    5. And from nerfy.....my house is scruffy

    :eek::rotfl:

:grouphug: We have all seen your house is spotless. :D

Oh and I was not responsible for the red eyes. ;)

And flies will fly away eventually TM, they don't bite like red mites.

I found these bad boys in Mr T yesterday. 47p for a 55g bag.

They are all organic, gluten free, dairy free etc. I though they might be a bit rank as I'm not that keen on really dark chocolate... but oh'la la... they are blooming lovely and I ate the whole bag!!

They also had choc covered pumpkin seeds too.

They might just be in the stores that had the "lifestyle" event over the summer as they are selling all that gumpf off cheap(er).

I had a lovely day today, sun was shining etc etc then I stubbed my bare toe on a trolley wheel in Mr T and now it is swollen, all shades of purple and black and I can't bend it!

I must have screamed at the time as I was wheeling my trolley past the check outs and I saw a few heads look around. I limped out of the store trying not to cry lol. :o

Hope it's not broke? If need be will just have to strap it to the toe next door. :rotfl:

Did one a few hours ago and nothing:o

    Hi TM

I did 4 codes on one of my e-mail addresses, but received nothing.
I phoned them up and they said they would get IT dept to look into it.
Nothing received after 4 days so phoned them up again and was told if IT dept can't sort it then they would send them I the post.
That was Wed, so don't know how long I should wait for the post?

I have since bought another 4 and used a different e-mail address, these worked fine and came through straight away. Although they did go straight to my junk mail.

P.S the original email address was the one I used to get the coupons from the last promo, not sure if that makes a difference?

I know it's no fun if you have rats or mice uninvited in your house, but I do admire these creatures who adapt and take advantage of the environments that we humans create?

The same with gulls & foxes in the city. They are in the main just taking advantage of all the food waste we make available (litter/ bins etc), and in the case of gulls the lovely flat roofs with no predators that make perfect places for them to nest. :)
