Evening all. Bit of a late catch up today. It's DH birthday so we had a bottle of champagne with our lunch (last of a glitchy batch from T some while back) then promptly fell asleep on the sofa :o
Yesterday we made a new flower bed and as the plants looked a bit sparse, put in a couple of bits of wood and old terracotta pots. Very pleased with the result, it looks proper arty :T

Happy Birthday hornet girls DH :bdaycake:

Hope your Jasmine's been a good girl and not been gallivanting again :)

Hi Everyone, didn't get to post this morning because my lappie decided not to cooperate!

    Lovely sunny day here.

We will be sampling the top of the Christmas cake for pud tonight, always cut the top off and start feeding it brandy as soon as it is cold. It will be rather strange though, only have to cut the top in two this time. First it was 4, then DS left home, then it was 3, then DD left home, now it is just us two. It is very peaceful though :D

Hi enterprise do you have any idea why some of my channels are saying no information available eg ch4 and ch5 when I go to record something please. I ve got a youview box and it was all fine till I recently retuned it. Thanks

Couldn't agree more about daft sizes tweets. I have things in my wardrobe ranging from size 8 to size 16, all of which fit me. Partly this is due to a size mismatch between my top half and my bottom half, but also because the sizes vary so much between different brands.

She's been very good. She loves when we do work in the garden and just races up and down, stopping every so often to check out what we're doing. Next door have a big tree which overhangs our garden. Its leaves are dropping at the moment and she's in heaven chasing after them.

Glad she is ok after her missing ordeal :T:T
  • How are people completing the Funtrivia quiz in less than 40 secs? It takes longer than that for me to skim read the questions let alone think about the answer  I doubt I'll ever win this quiz :o
