Hello
Wonder if someone can help? I want to buy quite a lot of alcohol and also as am saving CC points to convert to avios would like to shop at telco.
I am happy to split the shop to get the Price Promise voucher, but if I missunderstad can someone point me in the correct direction as it would be cheaper to go to Asda and not worry about the price promise voucher.
I would like to buy a crate of san miguel £9 / £8.5 in asda
sol beer is £13 tesco or 2 for £20. In asda it is £8 per box. Would tesco refund a deal if i buy 2 cretes or would they refund 1 box verses 1 box? (if you understand!)
some of the spirits are £19 v £18.50
Im going to get domes limes 30p v 24p
Tonic water - its £4 per crate. In asdas its 3 for £10 - would tesco refund the £2 extra? or does it look at the pre offer price of £4? This is the same for ginger ale. If so Im better off buying in asda.
I hope someone can understand what I mean, Im note sure if offers count or if its the pre offer price which counts?
Thanks in advance
Victoria
Hi Victoria
My rule of thumb around this, is to not pay more than you would normally. Therefore, its fine to do this and get the price promise. The problems come when you buy more expensive things that have some money off, and you're buying just for the PP
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you'll be okay if you get
San Miguel would be fine, you'll get £1.50 back
Sol beer, if you buy 2 in Tesco, you'll get £4 back from PP (they'll work off A's multibuy offer)
Tonic water/ ginger ale - again they will work off the multibuy ofer so definitely best to buy 3 and you'll get £2 back
Just watch out as PP is capped at £10 in total, and you need 10 different items (you can buy more than one of the same things, but when you're counting the 10, it has to be 10 different things)0 -

Well, thats another weekend over with, back to the grind in the morning, *sigh*
I sympathise Dave. Weather is crap but it's sunny in my heart:rotfl:
Anyway I have something that might cheer you up. But it will have to wait. I have a much more pressing issue.
I'm having problems with flies:mad::eek::mad:
These little blighters.......bigger than corn flies......look like a tiny house fly, appeared on our bathroom floor on Thursday. They came suddenly and are reappearing every time we clear them up. They are on the floor just outside the shower. Nowhere near the shower plug hole. They seem worse just after having a shower.
I cleared them this morning and put the shower on and watched. I swear they just appeared from nowhere. Mr TM has sealed up every single orifice but we can't find out where they are coming from:mad:
I've googled it and there's a lot of references to drain flies but no answers.
There are no smells and the area is dry.
