Sometimes, when I've got things really cheap (or even sometimes merely on 'half price'), I've felt like going into the store and offering to sell the product back to them at much higher than what I'd paid, sure they could then sell it on for even more and still make a profit!:rotfl:
I've also felt like (but I've not done it of course:eek:) standing outside, or near to outside, the stores and trying to sell it to the general public at more than what I paid but undercutting the price the store now has it at!:rotfl::rotfl: Not any real 'big time' stuff - just stuff like soft drinks bottles that I paid about 80p for - trying to sell it outside to people at £1! Look, it's £1.68 in there! Do you want it from me? Only a quid - a bargain!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I think people would think I was very strange. Which is one, or in fact the only, reason why I've not actually done it, or even tried to! Maybe I ought to:think::rotfl::rotfl: (obviously not so close to the store, or actually on their premises, as to be able to be told to leave but...hmmm..perhaps that would need a street trader's licence?!?):rotfl::rotfl:
You could do the same at a car boot though
The only thing right now I want to do in a chain store is out several A4 signs around the ronseal paint "if you want a job doing properly, don't use this stuff!":rotfl:
Cold & misty here
That damp morning of Autumn
Oh well roll on next year
Sunny and chilly here
Morning all
By the end of today all my fences will be finished (well, the ones I can get to anyway) and I will have my garden back :j
