  • Morning everyone :)

Bit late to the party but hoping to be able to visit a T that accept competitors mocs this weekend. Have lots of cs mocs from W, M and S as well as some apgs and pps, so hope to go see what they will and won't take.

Thanks to all who have posted on this, but especially aau as the penny hadn't dropped on the W £10 off mocs :o:o:o and these are now earmarked for some Xmas shopping in T.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Up early enough but decided to make up an 'essentials & luxuries' parcel for my niece who we left in Swansea on Thursday.

It hit us on the way home that she will be on her own for the very first time. Hopefully she will make friends quickly ♥

Spent ages trying to find postcode - RM postcode finder is rubbish now :( Kept giving me an engineering site in Doncaster ????

Used up at least 35 of my 50 daily allowance :rotfl:

Anyway I've woken up the household with my extreme sellotaping :D:D:D

  • Good morning

    Hope all is well:)

What a miserable morning, dark, grey and cold:eek: I feel like it should be a duvet day but the monkeys have other ideas!!

Thanks for the reminder re the lego:) I'm aiming for the repair truck on Monday, the Phoenix flyer and the aeroplane in next Saturdays. I can put them away for Christmas then:)...bit of a pain going into town every day to get them.

Had a dreaded phone call from school in the week... One of the monkeys was on a school trip but was taken poorly:eek: cue a 30+ mile journey to get there!! Nightmare when you haven't a clue where you are going.

Had an email from mr t yesterday £4 off a £40 shop delivered or collected Monday or Tuesday.... I'm wondering if this will work with the £4 off £40 that some of us got in the post, now that would be nice :)
  • Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have fabulous Saturday, I have been on hols for week. We manged to climb 6 mountains and had a game of crazy golf. It was a fab week with loads of sunshine and I got no mud on my boots. That is unheard of.

    Happy shopping elite.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

    Hi snap

I think she will settle in and have a great time. Lots is laid on for freshers in the first couple of weeks to keep the students busy so they don't have too much time to feel homesick. And they also mix a lot during these weeks to help everyone meet new peeps and make friends.

My DD is in her final year at Swansea and has loved it - great student community. And I have really enjoyed weekends away in the town and out to the Gower :j. Lovely part of the world.
