Night mutley. :A
I love my hoovers just like Mildred's DS does. I would be a lost soul without one.
I hoover my whole house every day, mainly because of the dogs. But I still hate it! I'm always getting tangled up and wrestling with mine like a crazy woman, then the hot air gets you in the face. Blurghhh!
Necessary evil I guess!

I am slacking, I forgot when I went to town earlier in Wilkos they had Gardening clogs, bit like crocs, Mens were £2 pair and Womens were £1.
They didn't have my size but got couple pairs for Mr TS, he will have to do the gardening.
Also got nice big garden thermometer for £1 wooden, they had plastic ones for 75p. There were quite a few RTCs.0 -
These were the clogs, mens were in black, grey blue I think, ladies were pink, blue, purple, can't remember all the colours.
£2 mens £1 ladies.

Evangeline1971 wrote: »Hi everyone, I’d really like your opinions on this please. OH has again accused me of being selfish. I know I can be sometimes because of my ASD but this time I really feel that he’s the selfish one. I want to go on a sightseeing holiday in Scotland. I enjoy visiting castles and historic buildings and I want to go to Stonehaven to visit Dunnottar Castle and 21 other heritage sites and museums in a 20 mile radius. OH isn’t interested in historic buildings and museums but he does visit them with me occasionally. However he said that spending a week doing this would not be a holiday for him and he’d be totally bored. It wouldn’t be worth just going for the day since it’s over 300 miles and the drive is over 5 hours! He won’t agree to me going alone either so that means I won’t ever get to visit these places unless I outlive him
He says it will cost as much as a holiday abroad but we’ve been abroad 3 times and he just wants to sit by the pool all day then go for a sleep in the afternoon, which totally bores me  I really don’t think I’m the one being selfish here
My aunt had this trouble once kids left home. She wanted active walking type holiday and my uncle likes his sun lounger. They now have 2 x 1 weeks breaks every year, one active and siteseeing, the other round the pool.
As had special birthdays and a special anniversay they have had a few longer breaks but they make sure they are a good mix of both.
If your oh really hates the idea of scotland could you arrange to go with a friend or family member while your oh does something he likes (not sure if I remember correctly but doesn't he have kids, he could do something he enjoys with them or a friend).
I like my holidays to be a mixture of sunlounger and local history and am lucky as only myself to please.

Unfortunately, my Mum can't give blood either due to a transfusion she received about 20 years ago. The transfusion saved my Mum's life; this is what led me to donate when I was a teenager.
I've had a couple of years off from donating due to going abroad to Africa but I always try and fit it around my schedule.
Seeing blood being given 1st hand is also a kick up the backside.
I have wondered sometimes whether the blood I've prescribed to a patient is the same blood that I had donated. Chances are slim, but you never know...
I can not donate due to my immune system but am so grateful to those that do. My dad is having weekly transfusions at the moment which could not happen except for the kind people that take time to donate.
My dd has joined the Bone Marrow doners list due to Dads illness. Unfortunately he is too old for a bone marrow transfer.
Neither I nor any of my family had never needed a transfusion until Dad became ill but Mum and step dad used to donate and dd does too.
To the fit and healthy please keep up the good work:T
