Yes I had gone to bed You are right it could be a sensory issue as I do have quite a few relating to textures against against my skin. I remember you said about your son always wearing socks in bed. I'm the opposite, I hate that feeling. I don't like my legs and feet covered at all, although I tolerate it to extent as I don't think the world would want to be subjected to my bare legs every day I usually feel the need to change into something comfy when I get home

I could feel the sensations from the ipad when OH sat on the edge of the bed but not when he put his feet in bed. He suggested that maybe the current is passing through him so he needs to be grounded (feet on the floor) for me to feel it. I asked him if he could feel these sensations when I touch the ipad and he said no but he hadn't given it his full attention. I'm so curious about this now, I'm planning to look into this further when OH cannot use the excuse of being too busy to participate

I really need to know now if this is related to ASD or if everyone can feel it :think: I'd appreciate if people can post their results if anyone else wants to try this experiment

I feel the buzzing Evangeline - I have an iPad 2 and thought it was faulty but I read others saying the same on other forums. DD2 feels it too but DH thinks we are imagining it because he doesn't ever feel it. It feels worse when it's on charge and if I touch DD2 when touching the iPad she feels it too.

I have a rubbery type cover on mine now to protect it from bumps like this:


Don't feel the vibrations anymore and it's protected from ds2 if he drops it :T Cost about £8 on Amazon and it is fab
