May be old news but lots of baking stuff RTC in Ts this morning. (one bonus of DS starting school is that it is right next door to Ts
) Got stocked up ready to decorate DS2s Christening cake next month and the Christmas cake after that
454g packs of Dr Oetker Regalice and marzipan £1.27 and 80p respectively. Renshaws multipack primary colours half price at £1.99. Silver spoon dark chocolate chips 42p.
Lots of other cake cases, decorations etc reduced too. Not amazing prices but good for things that aren't often on offer
thanks a lot logie, need stuff for a couple of cakes so will get oh to stop at bangor on way home later ,0 -
Feeling a bit rubbish today, had a mini meltdown with tears and everything this morning - unwarranted really but had them on me. Got over it now but managed to make DH feel bad for being a grumperton before he went to work.

Morning all - who has taken the sun away
I noticed this morning that when I looked at my Livingsocial account that something I'd cancelled and been given a refund for via deal pounds was not showing so I rang them up.
I had the email from them in front of me and it turns out that you need to reply to the email - worded a bit loosely so if you just speed read it like I did you wont realise this.
so its just quicker and easier to ring them up via the Freephone number, saves time and form filling. And if you ring in the morning their call centre is in Arizona and you get to find out how hot and sunny it is out there
Yesterday I was having a bit of a dither about 2 Groupon deals. One slots in very nicely with a trip we are planning and looking at the numbers of people taking up the deal even on the first day I thought I might as well go for it, better to do it sooner than have the deal expire early because of the take up.
on my Topcashback this morning its showing as £1 which will go to the paid column in December sometime (starting to collect now for my !!!!!! cc allowance next year)
The other Groupon deal was a bit more speculative but you have 2 weeks for a straight forward money back so again I thought I might as well go for it.
I've been thinking that I need to be a bit more proactive with these Groupon/Livingsocial deals, only they are only live for two weeks at a time but have very long expiry dates - often 90 days or up to 6 months and I've kicked myself when I've missed a deal that would have gone nicely with another one. Refunds seem to be very easy to organise so if something takes your fancy you might as well go for it.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

At the moment my house/garden resembles one from C4 hoarders without a usable garage.
I can't even get to sort anything out as everything is in front of everything else. IFKWIM.
I am going to try tackle putting the camping gear away from last weekend today, have been putting it off all week.
Oooh forgetting my manners today.
Morning everyone.
