Morning all.
An exciting, but also nerve wracking day for a lot of people.
Hope it all goes okay, whatever that means.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

When we have Scottish or NI notes given to us in payment, they are removed from circulation
How are you all?
Hoping Rhos will have a better day ♥ Cariad ♥
Ahhh, good one, remove them so the pesky Scots have to pay to have some more printed

) I was trying to work out why suddenly I could feel what I can only describe as like mild electric shocks and we worked out that it was when he touched the ipad.
Yes I had gone to bed
You are right it could be a sensory issue as I do have quite a few relating to textures against against my skin. I remember you said about your son always wearing socks in bed. I'm the opposite, I hate that feeling. I don't like my legs and feet covered at all, although I tolerate it to extent as I don't think the world would want to be subjected to my bare legs every day
I usually feel the need to change into something comfy when I get home
I could feel the sensations from the ipad when OH sat on the edge of the bed but not when he put his feet in bed. He suggested that maybe the current is passing through him so he needs to be grounded (feet on the floor) for me to feel it. I asked him if he could feel these sensations when I touch the ipad and he said no but he hadn't given it his full attention. I'm so curious about this now, I'm planning to look into this further when OH cannot use the excuse of being too busy to participate
I really need to know now if this is related to ASD or if everyone can feel it  I'd appreciate if people can post their results if anyone else wants to try this experiment
Good morning everyone
Good morning
This is something I developed quite an interest in. DS1 had quite an in-depth sensory profile done. It was part of a medical research programme so, as far as I know not something that's widely available. It was very informative though and threw up answers to a lot of things that had always puzzled us.
Also the National Autistic Society run a one day course about sensory issues. It's free and is held all over the country at various different times. It's aimed at parents of kids with ASD but the info would be just as relevant to you. I'm busy this morning but I will try and find details for you later.0 -

Who invited time and motion into my home this morning? Ive just been informed it takes me 2 minutes and 3 seconds to do the toast and if I could shave a few seconds off that DS2 would get back to his iPod before the automatic shut off kicks in.
Must try harder
Ive just been sarcastic to him and it slides over his head totally un-noticed. Oh well it made me feel better :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Thank you, yes that would be of interest to me. I don't think OH takes my sensory issues seriously. I need to convince him that there's a reason I need my fleece blanket to sit on the couch. The feel of leather touching my skin is just horrible but I love anything fleecy
Also I hate wearing tights, whoever invented them should be shot!
