    Morning all

I have to go somewhere else on my way to work this morning and it feels a bit naughty to still not be sat at my desk when I should be! I have to drop something off and it's work related so who am I to argue?!

I have to be honest, this Scotland stuff is driving me a bit mental. It's been all the news has been talking about for more than a week and all you see is so muh political bluster. I'll be glad when it's over. It doesn't affect me whether Scotland is part of the uk or not. Whichever way it goes, I hope that people vote having done their research and not based on the BS fed to them by the various campaigning parties

I can't wait for it to be over.
I shall be home all day, probably watching Dave so as to avoid the beeb and other channels waffling on.
    I suppose there's always iplayer :j

In the time it's taken me to write this I've now gone to the kitchen to find the little un has ripped open my last toblerone
Guess what I'll be scoffing today now :D
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

  • Morning all, just saw this on FB and it made me chuckle:

    Scotland: I want a divorce.

England: But I love you. Please don't leave me.

Scotland: No I've had enough. I'm going.

England: Ok, but it has to be a clean break. We can't be sharing anything.

Scotland: Oh. Well I was going to suggest we still live next door to each other and have a door between our two houses that we leave open at all times.

    England: Why?

Scotland: So that our mutual friends can still see us both at the same time.

England: But we don't have any mutual friends.

Scotland: Ok then. Your friends can come over and visit when they come to see you.

England: Well why don't we just still live together then?

Scotland: Because I want my independence!!!

    England: Right. Ok.

Scotland: And I think we should share Queeny.

    England: The Corgi??

    Scotland: Yes.

England: But Queeny is my dog.

Scotland: I know but it makes me really popular having a dog like Queeny and people travel from all over to see me cos they know I have a dog.

England: Ok but you have to take all your debt with you.

    Scotland: Why?

    England: Because it's yours!

Scotland: But I'm only little. Surely I can just take on a tiny little incy wincy teeny bit of it.

England: But most of it came while you were living in my house and is registered to this address. You can't just go back to only owing what you owed when you were living at home just because you don't live here anymore.

    Scotland: But I'm only 'iccle'

England: Ok. Ok. Just take your family's debt and I'll pay off yours. Fine.

Scotland: And can you still come over and protect me if I get in a fight with someone. I feel ever so lonely.

England: What's in it for me?

    Scotland: We'll keep the Crankies.

    England: Done.

Thank you, yes that would be of interest to me. I don't think OH takes my sensory issues seriously. I need to convince him that there's a reason I need my fleece blanket to sit on the couch. The feel of leather touching my skin is just horrible but I love anything fleecy :D Also I hate wearing tights, whoever invented them should be shot! :D

It's more common than you'd think. DS2 always describes his knees as being 'cold' when they are uncovered. I don't think it's cold he feels, that's just the only way he can describe it.
Weighted blankets are very popular for this sort of issue. I'm not suggesting for a moment that you pay the silly prices charged for them on specialist websites  but there are lots of ideas online for making your own. DS2 has wheat bags sewn onto a duvet (not by me I might add :p :rotfl:) The weight is very comforting for him.
  • Morning all

Vote has been cast . Was quite busy at the polling station too :T

Off to get some square sausage now :rotfl:
