    Thanks
That is my plan to go to the rescue shelter and get a cat about 3 or 4 years old but which would be the best breed and sex to get or doesn't it matter

Also make sure you add cat expenses to your budget list.

They need an annual check up with the jabs - rescue cats have this before they go to their new homes so you just need to make it on the calendar for the next year.
Find out where your local vets are and how much they charge - might be worth ringing around if you have several.
Worming tablets and flea treatments you can get online - never get these from the vets as they charge an arm and a leg.
We also have a very fine flea comb and our three love being combed through so we only ever get the one flea. Ideally then you need a very placid cat with short hair that does not object to the comb.
We also have vet grade aloe vera spray bought from Amazon for any little bites or cuts or nicks.
Mind you indoor cats that don't go hunting should not have much problems with fleas, worms or bites :D

Also pet insurance - again do price comparisons but our Sophies is only about a fiver a month.

Also have a look at local catteries and find out how much they charge so if you are away you have a nice place for your cat to go on holiday as well :D

Hope you got something from the doc for k92...I mean ds2 ;) My ds2 has been poorly, stinking cold and vomiting over the weekend - just left with a chesty cough now. Dd2 is off school today with the same thing and I feel hot and achey. DH always seems to dodge these bugs even though he is on medication that lowers his immune system so he is in work today - bringing home pills and potions at lunch time :A Fingers crossed the bug won't get you too bad and will let you enjoy the rest of your sick time :)

    Thank god no sick:eek:
Kids off school mess days off right up:o hope dd2 is better soon:)

Morning guys, just had a quick catch up from last night, does anyone know if this is still working today please
    tia

Multibuy showing now think you had to get out quick last night if you wanted this to definitely work.

From personal previously failed shops I would say to late in the day to go now.

Ok scrape me off the floor someone please

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Fresh from the disappointment of not getting the !!!!!! misery wine and not getting a disappointment code - I think I might be more upset about the latter I then got a phone call.

I very carefully wrote the ladies name down, no idea why but it turned out to be a lady from Budgens to say I've won a case of wine :T

She was very amused with my story about my failed attempt to get my !!!!!! wine order

so later in the week it will be delivered to the store for us to collect and she will send me an email. Its a bit of a drive out - about half way to Chester from here but I think I am going to make it a magically mystery tour as I've found a nice meal deal at a restaurant close by so I can surprise OH :T

so that's my three nice things in one morning :D

    :j:j Lucky you, enjoy.

    A question please.

I need to return 2 things to Marks - still with original wrappers - the receipt is missing
Will they issue me with a credit note even if I have no receipt?
If the answer is yes - that's still good :T

Or will they make me do a swap - still Ok sort of

Its tights and I only got them last week - hopeless

I asked about this in store today, and was told you can either get a credit note, or you can exchange for something else.
