I am thinking of getting a Cat for company I live alone and am retired tried a woman that didn't work lol I would like a house cat is there any particular breed or sex that would be more suited to being a house cat and companion? Thanks

Have you got a cat rescue place locally?

You might find that an older cat might be better as a house cat but then you have the problems with the cost of the vet bills if they have health issues.

There was lots of sun in Manchestah yesterday too; with a few scattered clouds.

    :T

About 3 years ago in mid-October I remember we had a very nice Indian Summer for a few days with temperatures in the mid 20s.

Just looked at the thermometer in the garden; currently 19 degrees celsius.

    :T

Time to get the £1 Ray Ban out.

Was 23 degrees down here yesterday. :D

And according to the weather forecast due to be that hot today and tomorrow as well. :j

DD3 has got her first ever job interview. :j

Just weekend work while still at college. I didn't push anything last year because of her arm but it seems to be ok not hurting anymore. Obviously can't see what is going on inside but hopefully October xray will show good news. :)

    Thanks
That is my plan to go to the rescue shelter and get a cat about 3 or 4 years old but which would be the best breed and sex to get or doesn't it matter

    Morning:)
Now at doctors with ds2 due to his sounding like a dog barking:eek:
I'm now off work sick with sweats and no energy:o
On a plus note ds3 is back to school:T
I hate having time off work sick as I plan my sick time off:rotfl: no point being off work sick if you can't enjoy it:o

Hope you got something from the doc for k92...I mean ds2 ;) My ds2 has been poorly, stinking cold and vomiting over the weekend - just left with a chesty cough now. Dd2 is off school today with the same thing and I feel hot and achey. DH always seems to dodge these bugs even though he is on medication that lowers his immune system so he is in work today - bringing home pills and potions at lunch time :A Fingers crossed the bug won't get you too bad and will let you enjoy the rest of your sick time :)

None of us seem to have a quiet easy going life - we all seem to lurch from one minor drama to the big significant stuff and back again several times a day :rotfl:

I like this ! Quoteworthy! :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.
