Afternoon all. Won't actually be off to Canada until next year but thank you for all of the hints and tips :D

I do need a laptop for my home office here but I don't know if I can justify a MacBook Air. I'm starting on Monday so terrible as it sounds I'll probably just buy one from Pc world or Currys. Unless anyone could recommend an alternative? I'm worried eBay will take too long and I really need to hit the ground running.

Toronto is a great city. Echo previous comments by everyone and Niagara is well worth a quick and easy trip although I was disappointed by the cheesy surroundings. Try to go up the CN tower when a game is on at te Rogers centre - good photos on the glass floor!

Re a laptop. I got an I3 Acer for under £200 from bargain crazy - they have limited stock and officially refurbs but mine was like new and arrived within 2 days. No problems with it except when I dropped it... Not a macbook but decent running laptop for good price.

Looking at prices of Pepsi max on MSM and Sada shows £1:98.

Just bought ten bottles to compare against Tosco and marked up on shelf as 2 for £3 and charged £15 for ten.Hopefully APG will see £19.80

It does work. Ordered 2 pepsi on c&c charged 2 for £3, apg sees 3.98 vs 2.00 Ms and 1.98 Ts.

Didn't get chance to try instore as daughter sick over me after picking up c&c.
    Make £10 a day in March - £182 / £310 :j

I love a good typo, I sent a text to a friend called heather a while ago, my stupid predictive text changed it to heavier. As she's on a permanent diet she was less than impressed :o

Picked up a 4p Ariel Disney Princess doll in C0ln3y H8tch Ts earlier today. Mixed in with other shopping that I could barely scan! I was so nervous someone would take my Ariel away. Excellent put away for Christmas/maybe even next year considering all the stuff I've got!
hi, have you got a bc and description please? ty x

I'm quite tempted by this. Checked out Argos after VTs suggestion. It has MS office included and a USB port. Decent storage....I could buy Argos vouchers in Ts for the points and bingo!

My Mum's laptop (a huge clunky thing that was years old) broke recently and I think she'd really enjoy something touch screen. Even though she's insisting she doesn't wont be able to use it. Rather than us both get new laptops we're going to share one. She gets it evenings and weekends ;)

  • For any Irn Bru drinkers amoungst us, the 8 pack in T's currently has 4 extra free cans. They are£4.19 but compare to £2.50 in A's. Perhaps useful if you've a conditional spend to use :)

ETA pack of cans that is!
