good morning all hope the elite are wellxx

have a little dilemma this morning i found a letter, ds3 has won an award at school he is 14, ceremony tomorrow but he says he is not going. I want to go and see him get it, but he does not approve of the system that gives him an award for being top in maths with no hard work he says it comes naturally he looks at numbers and the answer is there, but other children struggle and work a lot harder than him, and one of his friends through hard work has moved up 3 sets, ds3 thinks his mate or others like him deserve the award more as they have worked a lot harder. I can see what he is saying and the choice is his, but I wanted the proud mum moment.:o:o:o:o:o

Can you sell it to him in relation to having something to aspire to etc. He should be proud and pleased, I wonder if he could teach my DS2…his brain appears to have stopped working when he went to uni x

    This is a funny one:

    Nestle Nesquik Snack (4x26g)

    28.8p/100g

:rotfl: I've seen these being bought on wombles for months at £1.00:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Looks like other "Savvy Buys" for A on msm might be best bought in T or S - Tetley Tea Bags (240) for instance. A is £3. Might be better if wait till when elsewhere is £2.89 and then 10% off that, but £3 is my 'price guide' - works out at £1 for 80 teabags. That's the guide I use (of course S/P ones at 27p would be cheaper still).

I love a good typo, I sent a text to a friend called heather a while ago, my stupid predictive text changed it to heavier. As she's on a permanent diet she was less than impressed :o

How long has she been out? Try not to worry...she might have found a mouse....they can lose track of time for hours and hours and she will be blissfully unaware that you are panicking
