have a little dilemma this morning i found a letter, ds3 has won an award at school he is 14, ceremony tomorrow but he says he is not going. I want to go and see him get it, but he does not approve of the system that gives him an award for being top in maths with no hard work he says it comes naturally he looks at numbers and the answer is there, but other children struggle and work a lot harder than him, and one of his friends through hard work has moved up 3 sets, ds3 thinks his mate or others like him deserve the award more as they have worked a lot harder. I can see what he is saying and the choice is his, but I wanted the proud mum moment.:o:o:o:o:orhosynbach wrote: »evening all, just wanted to thank everyone for the nice comments about ds3. and the suggestions, he has decided not to go, he has also written a letter to school council suggesting awards for most improved, or hard working students,
I know how lucky I am with both my boys, they are good lads, and I am proud of them both:D
You have your proud mum moment right there! :T
What a lovely thoughtfull lad. :A"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

How many mistakes can you spot?
How very annoying it is to not only get unwelcome mail because I signed up a loooong time ago for a full size aftershave that wouldn't have covered Jiminy Cricket's pulse points, but then to be subjected to so many errors. :rotfl:

They're not glitching, the forum is just changing your post from all caps to all lower case because it thinks you are shouting
You need to include at least one lower case letter if you want your clappy hands to workApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Your DS's moral values deserve more recognition than any natural ability, impressive though it is.
