The council must have found a good glitch on cones :rotfl:
I thought councils only went nuts on roadworks towards the end of the tax year?

By "not advertised" do we mean there was no statutory 'approval' via a statutory notice being published in the press? Surely there must have been some advertisement, in that respect, or else perhaps it's some emergency that doesn't require notification? I know nothing about the actual requirements, if indeed there are any, though - except to say that it can't always be assumed that local councils or anyone will follow correct procedure. Not that there would be anything anyone could really do, in the hypothetical event that they had not, given the de facto roadworks there.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    EMMAP congratulations on the job.

rhosynbach - your DS sounds lovely, well done him!

Tried going to Farmfoods this morning, but there were so many roadworks and queues I actually gave up and came home, my bladder couldn't hack it! :rotfl: Was only going there to stock up on Linda McCartney sausages as I am veggie and low carbing, and they are £1 in there. Will check mysupermarket to see if anywhere has them on offer.

So bored at home, my bladder is rubbish and got nothing to focus on (well, I could do housework but I think I'd rather be bored than do that! :D). Very glad to be going back to work next week, even just for a few days.

DS first day at college seemed to go well yesterday, he had a lie in today as didn't start til 12, although he doesn't finish til 5 so will be gone 6 by the time he has got the bus home.

If you're veggie and low carbing- there's a great website called honestly healthy full of recipes. I've just bought her first book (for when I don't want anything meaty).
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)
