Honestly, it was horrendous. Seemed to be roadworks about halfway London Road that weren't advertised and were backing up to the roundabout. Cut through to Towcester Rd and down to the retail park where B&M etc is as needed to pop in. Just past that roundabout there were more roadworks which seemed quite major, so I gave up then, as would have needed to get through there to get to Farmfoods.

Can imagine nearer Christmas etc will be awful, I will try and remember to stay away!

The council must have found a good glitch on cones :rotfl:
I thought councils only went nuts on roadworks towards the end of the tax year?

In fact in all my waffling and going off on a tangent (or several), I forgot to mention something I was going to mention. I often do that, don't worry:D;):rotfl:.

About them not getting many mbuys:T. Except that, one of them, they bought some Malted Wheats and Choco Hoops. Wish they had got the 3 for £3 mbuy there now, instead of two-thirds:( of a now T 3 for £3 offer where T is likely to be much more individually expensively priced than A:(. (Not one for us, as still way above 20p/100g on much of what's in the offer - apart from the Malted Wheats and would you really want three:eek: packs of non-glitchy cereal? - due to A and T being 'small' 375g on many of the items. I was considering comparing against the T offer myself though.)

I am fussy aren't I? Didn't want them to get any mbuys, and then they go and get two own brand cereals and I want them, but only just because it matches a rival's mbuy offer, to get the mbuy there!:rotfl::rotfl:

EDIT: I'm even fussier than that - as want any extra item to be only Multigrain Hoops or Golden Balls, or else another of the Malted Wheats/Choco Hoops.

Except that...I'm talking complete rubbish, as it's the Frosted Flakes that are in the T offer not the Malted Wheats, so scrap all the above and ignore!:rotfl: But, the point was there...even though they bought Malted Wheats. I suspect their cereals will lose me out!
