Ladyshopper wrote: »Thanks Bananababe, not sure why I'm sleeping so badly, think its a combination of lots of things. On holiday my bladder played up lots so was up lots in the night, and this is only just starting to settle. Next door have builders in, most mornings its 8 they start, but one morning it was 7.30. They've even been here this weekend, including today, which I wasn't expecting. Friday night there was a group of drunk kids out just as I was going to bed, even when they moved from this street they were so loud I could hear them from quite a long way away! I guess stress about whether I'll be allowed back to work, which seems to have been resolved now but was still a worry. And then the overall stress of what is going on with my bladder, consultants appointment not until 23rd October so still a little while to wait until I find out what the plan is.
I just want a decent nights sleep where I fall asleep quickly, then stay asleep!
I am a poor sleeper sometimes but find even just 20 mins during the day is enough to refresh me, so maybe you could get a bit of rest then. Very inconsiderate of next door seven day a sweek builders I would not be tolerating thats for sure.
If in doubt how about a bottle of wine ? That knocks me to sleep when I have been really desperate

Nooooo an iPad just like an iPhone only bigger but heavier too unless you had the iPad mini of course. I use it with O2 priority moments etc sometimes and it's handy for me as it bigger than on a phone poor old half blind and half deaf Susie0 -
I am a very happy bunny this morning
I did a !!!!!! click and collect wine order on Friday after much deliberation. While doing the order I remembered the MOCs I had from Orchard had codes on them so a loaf of bread went onto the order. I also remembered I had a mailing MOC for pizza and the asda price is good this week.
I used the £10 code I was given from Tesco wine - when I did my order and everything seemed to be fine I checked later that day and it was cancelled  So I rang to complain and I was given a code :T
I also had a TPP to use and my conditional spend code so in total nearly £24 in discount codes :T
I'd worked out what the wine discount might be - 25% off but of course you don't see it until you pick your order up so its a bit worrying.
The order was collected yesterday, no subs and the total down to just under twenty one :T
And the TPP came through today - first time I've done this and only my 2nd click and collect - nice TPP
Hoping my Tesco has the Dolmio lasagne dishes in this morning

Do you shop instore/online @ JL? Just wondering whether I'll get the vouchers as I don't shop there.
Ta.
One of the cards does, the other doesn't

He only had about 4 shifts, and they seem to have forgotten about him and not given him any more, so he was keen to find something else. This is about 5 miles away and he will cycle quite often I think, although with winter round the corner I will happily take him if the weather is awful. Its good as its in the same village where his Dad is, so when he is there every other weekend he will still be able to get there (his Dad is a pain about anything and everything so nice not to have to rely on him for anything). Anyway, hopefully this is the start of a regular weekend shift.
On his bike get him to wear the hi vis vest and his helmet - my son was fine about this, very safely conscious.
Also make sure his phone is fully charged and he just lets you know when he gets there and before he sets off for home.
Son insisted on going on his bike however bad the weather, we really had to nag at him some times to allow us to take him in the car - he has always been very independent.
Odd times if the weather turned bad we would collect him from work and bring him back the next morning - he had a safe place to lock his bike up so it was OK to leave it overnight.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Hopefully the building work won't be going on too long, its only a single storey brick built extension (basically replacing a conservatory but as a brick built structure). It seems to have gone up fairly swiftly this week so we'll see.
Bottle of wine may be a plan, but alcohol messes with my bladder so then I'm up in the night more. Can't win! :rotfl:0 -

Good advice mhoc. I make him wear a helmet anyway (much to his disgust but I don't care!). Only thing is, mobile phone signal isn't great, I guess due to it being a forest! I had none yesterday when I was there waiting for him at his interview.0 -
