    Sounds like a lovely day!

It was. But I missed my bus connection in Nottingham and, with an hour to wait, I've had no choice but to visit JL with my penultimate coffee & cake voucher!

  • Good news for me. Police Federation phoned, they have spoken to HR who agreed that what the Force Dr told me was ridiculous, and I can return on whatever reduced hours I can manage. :T

I need to get my GP to write a letter listing my restrictions, then this can be discussed and worked around how I will return. Am so pleased, just to be able to get out for a couple of hours a day, work my brain and actually feel useful again will be good, plus it will take my mind off my symptoms.

    Hooray for common sense!

You mean a bureaucrat actually used common sense? I thought they had to have it surgically removed! Glad to hear you can start to get a little normality back:D

  • If the Scots want to go their own way that's great. The whole of the UK loses out, but Scotland has far more to lose and as for their economy, god help them, they'll be bankrupt in no time at all.

I think the Romans were right, anyone got any stones, I feel the urge to build a ....... great wall between them and us :D

Having said that, Alex Salmond is already doing a good job of it !

My sister just text me to say her best friend (who pierced my lip) is also piercing Adele today. No word yet on what she's getting.
