I just heard this on the radio. Poor, poor dogs. I expect many of them had already had a hard life. It breaks my heart that this happened when they were so close to safety.

I really do not understand the mentality of someone who could do such a thing. I recently caught three teenagers pelting stones at ducks on a nearby river. What are their parents teaching them? I find it really frightening as it is well known that cruelty to animals often progresses to violence towards humans.

Good on the two guys who ran in and saved so many dogs. x
