I got £4 shower gel, LYB card with free shower gel and free gift of absinthe handcream for £5.40.

Figured 40p for the stuff I am getting as I can use the £5 LYB birthday gift instore to get my money back on that. ;)

    (((hugs)))

Hope peeps at work are sympathetic as by the time you read this you'll be back from work i imagine. Such a shock when you find out someone has died, even if they have been poorly. Sorry you found out that way too. :(

    Thank you .

Workmates said it was very bad taste putting that in the window for anyone to see and they had never heard that happening before. :( Its still in the widow and I can see it when I look out the front :(

  • You are more than welcome to join me under the reading tree.
There's a bottle of cava just cooling off in the stream, should be nicely chilled:cool: by around three-ish; got a few fresh strawberries to cut up and drop in, too ... just bring a glass:)

I would love to join you jelly but I have 20 little 'darlings' to look after at 3pm today :(
It's their first day back after the summer holibobs so they will be as hyper as anything, it's enough to turn me to drinking  I must be getting old, thinking more and more that I don't want to be doing this for the rest of my life. :o. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy it but after being off sick for nearly 5 months early this year it has made me re-evaluate what's important to me. Will have to really think about it.

Sounding like a lot of negatives for the new job Arthien....especially the last point

Sounds a bit like your mind is almost made up??

Am sure you will make the right decision, I would go with where I thought I would be happiest and I think you said that the new job was quite high pressured, not sure the extra money would sell it to me.

Just my two penneth :D Hope you don't mind :o

Yeah, I am concerned about a lot of things, but then I know that my current place isn't perfect, I just have rose-tinted specs because it's easy and I'm too comfy here. I don't have any ambition any more because I know I won't get anywhere here even if I try, and we're owed £100's of thousands by customers so there's a (not small) chance of the business having to close in the future if one of our customers goes bust again.

I'd be moving for the possibility of something better (knowing there's a risk it might be worse), rather than the guaranteed 'same day in, day out and no hope of it ever changing' that I have now. On the plus side, I'll be thinking about babies in a couple of years, and DH may be about to get another pay rise in the near future, at which point work will be taking somewhat of a back seat anyway, if I'm honest :o (not that the people at the new job know that, I'm not that honest!)

It's giving me a nice warm feeling (no, not there - cheeky:p) thinking of the glitch monkeys enjoying reading this (and before the muggle readers get a chance, too) ... tell us what you think of the book:)
