davemorton wrote: »Oh, that is my one worry. When I travel to Southampton for my cruise, I always go down the same day I am setting sail, and always worry something like the cow incident may happen.
I could never do that, my nerves would not stand it. We always go down the night before - - before I even book I look to see what prices are like for Etap and premier Inn. Ok its not very MSE - one nights accommodations plus an extra night for the cats in the cattery but once we are on that Bournemouth train I can relax knowing I've got a full day to get to Southampton.
Premier Inn West Quay I can get for maybe £39 a night - I stalked the website for months until I got the price I wanted last year. Etap (or Isis Budget as they call it now) Ive got as low as £29 but last time when we booked very last minute was £60PI is still very shiny and new but Etap has had a big re vamp, it has gorgeous showers and it has unlimited wi fi now so it has a slight edge.
At the moment there are supposed to be 2 straight through trains, with no changes, one at 6 in the morning and one at 6 at night so in theory if we did find a last minute one we could quite comfortably be in Southampton for 10 or 11 in the morning but even the thought of doing this makes my stomach churn.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Does it think there is some sort of hidden (as not obvious on the shelf in M!:D) bogo'f' on the M Savers Sparkling Water there, and what other items might be able to be bought or put onto the same offer as the Water? (Surely, if they had different individual prices in the system, they would now return N/A if it was stored as a 2 for '1' or 4 for '2' etc.) I note the CBY Tropical Crush and Orangeade Sugar Free (probably totally separately) returning at half the individual price for M last week. 50p or 2 for 90p in M. APG on mix of one bought of each said 25p each.
I can't explain it! I'll let you lot on here do so! Shop was today at 16:13:42.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
