I've had a limited edition proof copy of the new Nick Hornby 'Funny Girl' arrive this morning - does anyone who does comps remember this as a prize from somewhere - I am wondering if I am supposed to read and review it for somebody.
If I keep it for reading when we are away I won't get it finished, huge thick paperback and we are only away for a week.
Anyway first win for ages, need to get my butt into gear.

It was a link from Jelly :)

Sorry if this has already been answered I'm just quickly catching up.
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

My mission is to find cheap roll on/stick deodorant for DS2. He is 13 later this week so it's now acceptable to wear deodorant :D:rotfl::rotfl:
He used spray this morning and sounded like he was having his fingernails pulled out  He says it hurts, so I need to find something a bit less harsh for him. Shame, as I have a cupboard full of various sprays.

not sure if its any help but sada in fwood atm are giving out the sure/dove vouchers that were so useful last time.not had time to check any offers for them to go with yet tho.:D

I know I said before that I hadn't got this, but I have to eat my words, it has just arrived Had to use a company name for this one so it came to my OH's company, can't think you have to review or anything though!

There was a thing on his website, you filled in a form and would get sent one, more of a freebie than a comp. Not had mine yet, so hopefully I get mine tomorrow.

Postie just delivered me one of these too. On the envelope, instead of my name it says Freelance. Bizarre!

    Well done, everyone:T:T:T
For any fans of Nick Hornby, get a free limited-edition advance copy of his new book 'Funny Girl' (not out till Nov) from his website:
    http://www.nickhornbyofficial.com/funny-girl/
    while stocks last.

Though I'm a bit hacked off that I haven't had a copy .... shall have to have words with Nick the next time I see him:wink:

Are you all ready for your Iceland adventure? I seem to recall making a somewhat intemperate promise to knit you some gloves, but I doubt if I will learn (or re-learn) to knit in time:o
