I notice at the bottom of my garden I have a ton of blackberries ans no idea what to do with them as noone eats them.
OH says wee lass next year been leaning over eating them so she can have the lot !! ( maybe I can persuade her to pick for herself ! ) xxx
I see we are on the same wave length.
We have loads of blackberries too, ours are cultivated strain, huge berries. Delicious to eat fresh on their own. :T0 -
Well I know TM ticked all David.'s boxes but she hasn't excused me from my ironing.

Yep
I had to practically rip his uniform off him as he wanted to keep it on lolLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

dd1 and family have decided to stay for tea , which due to some reminiscing is home made pizza, with sweetcorn fritters and oven over cooked jacket potatoes, and apple crumble again:D
it so funny how kids remember things differently to adults, ds3 is quite a bit younger than the rest and they were saying he was not around when we were poor. I said he is the lucky one then, they said no it taught them all a lot, and they had a lot of fun and learnt to be creative,:) the one thing they remember is running out of bread and nothing much in house so i had a tin of sweetcorn and an egg and a slice of ham mixed them together with flour and made giant sweetcorn fritters and we sat in the garden and ate them:o, I did not remember but they all did and every week making a tiny piece of leftover meat go over several home made pizzas with thick bases but nearly no topping:eek: and cooking potatoes in the fire as we were low on electric
so tonight dinner is for ds3 to see what he missed..:rotfl:
Afternoon all :j.
I loved this rhosynbach, it made me shed a tear as I read it out to DH but in a nice way. You have some great kids.
DH has just been made redundant so you never know, I might be coming to you for some tips in a few months.
Enjoy your tea all of you x :rotfl:Hope is not a strategy.0 -

My hubby had to go get her and she never went again for another 6 months.
SO Im glad he loved it !! :T0 -
