    Manners, sorry! Afternoon all!

Can't remember who posted it, Karlie maybe? But wanted a little more info about the m and s account switch.
Do they need dds on the account you switch from? It certainly doesn't look like it from the information I can find in their terms but if you've already done it then I thought you would know for definite. Tia.

(I know someone on here wasn't impressed by people asking and I don't want to offend but I am making an informed decision just want to check something before I do it.)

No DDs required. But you have to go through M&S Bank's switch service.

    :)

As mentioned, payment now upto £125 via MSE link: https://online.email.hsbc.co.uk/mandsBank/msmexclusive/

Make sure you're sitting comfortably with a cuppa before you ring to switch - I was on the phone for 29 minutes!

Quick question ....i have a 21 month old and as you'd expect at that age he is very inquisitive ! We have a multifuel burner in the dining room which gets very very hot. It's built in a fireplace elevated about 13 inches off the floor in a big brick built fireplace with a railway sleeper as a mantle.
We're looking at fire guards. Wondered if anyone had any experience with them. My concern is the fireguard will get very hot and will be even easier accessible as it will be closer for him to touch. The burner is recessed so he would have to make a real effort to climb and touch it. However I don't want to leave it to chance as a burn from it would be horrendous.
    Thanks
