Took £15.62 out of Paypal and paid it in to the savings.
New total - £5966.92
£33.08 to £6000
Dentist tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. I don't like going and in the weeks before a visit my subconscious goes in to overdrive and ALL my teeth suddenly seem to be ultra sensitive, entirely because my brain enjoys torturing me.
Oh well, at least I can get confirmation about my filling suspicions and book an appointment to get it sorted so I don't need to worry over Christmas.0 -
Well dentist was £130 in the end as I opted for a white filling rather than a silver one. I've always had white fillings and they generally seem to last better than silver ones do, got to go back at the end of January for a proper check-up and some new x-rays to see what's going on with the rest of the teeth.
Problem yesterday was that I'd only lost part of the filling, but when he removed the rest of it he found decay underneath so it took longer to clean it and get it all built back up againLuckily though I'm not in any pain so far today, last time I had a filling it took 3 weeks for the root to calm down.
Pay day today so I'll sort out money shuffling tomorrow!0 -
Moved just enough in to my savings, plus interest to reach;
£6004.26 :j
Got a bag of 20p and a bag of 5p pieces to pay in too, but apart from that that will be my savings for this month until I get my Christmas shopping done and sort out a few train fares. I've got cash for some Christmas gifts, the rest will be paid from this month's wages. I have a pretty tight budget (and my brother will pay back some of it in January as I traditionally do the buying for him XD) but the trains on the other hand are a bit more difficult to predict.
Also got a job interview back near my parents a week on Monday. Little bit more money but more importantly it's outside of London and so I can hopefully live a bit cheaper as well as be closer to the countryside.
Either way, I've hit just over £6000 before 31st December so I'm content, and I can look at a new savings target for the New Year!0 -
Joined in with the craft sale at work yesterday, earned back the Camden stall money plus a few quid extra, so that's in my "Postage" pot for any more online sales, and my float has been put towards Christmas except for £15 which was from 20p and 5p bags, THAT has been put in to my ISA along with a TT of £1.75
Total - £6021.010 -
Just looked at the account and TT £3.37 to the deposit savings.
Christmas shopping is going well, need to run around a lot on Saturday though, but most if not all of it should be covered by the cash I'd already taken out.
Didn't get the job I interviewed for but did get some lovely positive feedback, going to apply for some more jobs over the Christmas break. 4 days left and then I'm off work until January 2015! Going to take the time to, as said, apply for jobs, but will also be creating a savings plan for next year and mentally preparing myself to have a good old clear out and stick stuff on eBay.
Total: £6024.380 -
Having a lovely Christmas break and I hope everyone else is too!
Going "sales shopping" with my Mum and sisters tomorrow. Don't have much money left and I'd rather save the little that I do have, so we'll see what's in the sale but I won't want to spend much. I might go shopping again on Saturday as I'll be paid by then and will have time to think about whether I really need to buy what I saw on Monday.
In the meantime I had a little TT of £2.39, including eBook sales and Quidco paying in.
Got a dentist check-up at the end of January, so based on the possibility that I made need more work (got to have my first x-rays in 2 years and there may be underlying problems beneath the fillings) I need to save some money towards that end. Anything I don't spend (if I don't need anything done for example) will go in to the moving savings.
So I won't be off to a great savings start for 2015, but I shall sit down at find a way to catch up
Total: £6026.770 -
Refrained from spending anything yesterday, put £60 towards potential dental treatment and £10 in the moving savings.
That means that my final total for 2014 is £6036.77 in the house savings. Of that £2333 has been saved since February 2013, when I started focusing on it properly.
So, let's see what 2015 brings!0 -
Kicking off 2015 I've saved £102.50 (it's got the 2015 numbers plus an extra zero XD)0
