We've completed! Went and got the keys this afternoon, had the locks changed, then came back to Mum and Dad's. Will be going back down tomorrow and Gentleman Caller is meeting me there, and we'll be spending the weekend sorting things out down there.
I think it may be time for me to draw this thread to a close. I'll be starting an MFW diary next year, but I don't think I'm going to have much time to keep saving as a separate thread (I'll PM a link to a few people once it's up).
