cheapest home BB?

Our talktalk package has come to an end, we were paying £10mnth line rental and £3 for unlimited BB.
I am fed up with the high line rental costs. wondering if we could go for mobile internet tethering options instead. We dont really want a land line.
But are there any really good offers about? I saw EE do unlimited BB for £2month but then you have to pay line rental thats what I hate.

looking at that EE ospray mobile BB box for £15mnth or one of three's dongles.
any other suggestions for broadband we only need about 3GBmnth.0 -
DON'T go with EE!!
I've just cancelled my mobile broadband contract with them because it was shockingly bad, wherever I took the wifi box, I never got enough signal to actually load anything and their customer service is completely useless. I've been paying £15 a month for the last 16 months (18m contract) for something I couldn't even use, and they could see that by the fact that I never used ANY data, but they just would not let me cancel without paying £200+0 -

Three are getting better with their network coverage.
We didn't want a landline initially but we've just ordered BT as its too hard to find a good option without a line. We did the BT online summer offer which is 12 month contract, unlimited broadband plus free weekend calls and free line installation (usually £130) all for £24 per month inc line rental.0
