According to Google that address appears on about 12,500 web pages, so I would have thought it would be inundated with customer complaints, as well as huge amounts of spam.

You may get a reply but odds on are that he has some highly personalised spam filtering and a few admin assistants to ensure that he does not have to read your comments.
