Not long been entering but I'm not going to get disheartened if I don't have a win for a while. I enjoy the anticipation!0

Are you varying the type you enter? I've never won a big prize but win a few smaller things through blogs? Winning the big stuff is very unlikely but you never know!!!!!:T0

I have been comping for four years now.
Have regularly had breaks from it for months at a time and also at the opposite end of the scale I have entered hundreds at a time.
I do know of compers that enter "effort comps" pictures, videos etc and win lots...but if you are like me and lack that creativity and imagination then you stand the same chance as the rest of us at winning.
Luck of the draw I'm afraid.
I love entering, this has become a lovely hobby for me, I've met some fantastic people online, encountered wonderful kindness and I get to sit and dream of what I would do if I won "the big one" (itv)
In four years I have won five holidays...no effort involved (lots of form filling) we have managed to visit places I would never have afforded to go. Last year we spent a week in LA due to this forum and it's wonderful posters.
I am currently planning my holiday for February, another win, to New Zealand
which I am taking my mum on...we shall be spending 21 nights in a campervan discovering both islands and I'm so excited I could squeal.
My children get to watch their programmes on a television and free sky package that I won via Heart fm. Again thanks to the wonderful posters on here.
I hope this has encouraged you to carry on as it's such an amazing feeling when something wonderful turns up at the door, or that phone rings
Good luck xx0 -
It's harder to win nowadays as more people are entering competitions. I enter thousands on a weekly basis in the hope of winning items from my wish list but my win rate has been rubbish compared to a year or two ago.If I cared what everyone else thought, I'd be just like everyone else, and there's already too many of them. :A0

I've been comping for about 6 years, sometimes more intensely than others. I really don't understand how some people consistently win huge prizes aswell as regular smaller wins, they must never sleep. I've won a few nice things but never anything big. How people win ITV comps multiple times in beyond me.
Hope something comes your way soon
ChuckieD I would take those "multiple winners" claims with a pinch of salt.I have been steadily comping for over a year doing about 30-40 comps a day and I've only won one prize which is Sky for a year,i only do it during my lunch break and when I'm at the library on my way home from work.Good Luck Everyone:dance:0 -
I have been doing comps for over a year and was winning loads of things but the last few month my prizes have dried up, I do about 40 a day. I still continue because i think there will be a prize around the corner, I did win a Mia tui handbag last month and some tickets to Elbow for my sons! It does feel a bit daunting when you dont win but just keep at it as long as its fun, if its not then stop for a while. Xx0
