Entering more comps,still nothing!!

Well as I have been off work for 6 weeks I have been entering a lot more comps, but still haven't won a thing, nothing since March which was a mascara, me thinks time for another break.

Some of them can take a month to draw the prize and then send it out and they don't always notify you if you've won, so you may have won something that you just havn't received yet :)

I've not won anything yet either, but I'm fairly new to this.

    KEEP THE FAITH! :)
  • I started comping early April and found this site at Easter. Won trainers, 5 or 6 DVD's, tickets for exhibitions and a meal for four in London. nothing for over a month now but perseverance may pay off so I shall keep going. Costing me nothing and you never know - the big win may come.

If you are entering competitions to win something then it may well be a waste of time and pretty disappointing. If you enter for the fun of taking part and enjoy looking at the prizes that you could win you'll probably find it all a lot more enjoyable (plus you might get that odd special suprise as a bonus!)

I don't understand how people say they enjoy filling out forms online?
If that's the case would you not be better off doing the paid for surveys?

To a certain extent I do enjoy comping, but it's the thrill of maybe winning something that gives the enjoyment, not the actual process of filling out forms.

I started over a year ago ( june last year), won nothing till around Nov..then had a great few months, then from Feb to mid early Aug won nothing...It comes in ups and downs, I enter prob 200-300per day..its all about that next win for me, I hate filling forms out..but I do it due to that poss win. keep @ it, when I won in Nov..it was big..£1k travel vouchers :) I used them to go to New Zealand in April this year ( I did keep comping while there too !! lol)
    2013 -£1550 / £2013 :)
    2014 -£1955.95 / £2014
    2015 - £1600 / £2015
  • I've been off for 6 weeks too and have being doing comps night and day, must've entered thousands so thought I'd have a few wins but only had one twitter win, however it was a day out in Flamingoland so that saved us £110 as we were going to go anyway! :)
I remember the days years ago when I'd wait for the postie coming as I'd have a few wins a week...now its a few wins a year! Massive difference! I put it down to numbers of people entering these days. But I still enjoy doing them, and you never know whats around the corner! Plus I've got nowt better to do :rotfl:
    Back on it!

sleepy jones I completely agree! I don't expect to win all the time but I do get a bit disheartened when it's been a while - at the end of the day if there was no chance of winning, I wouldn't be bothering!

Can't say I've ever heard anyone say that.

I've been comping for about 6 years, sometimes more intensely than others. I really don't understand how some people consistently win huge prizes aswell as regular smaller wins, they must never sleep. I've won a few nice things but never anything big. How people win ITV comps multiple times in beyond me.

Hope something comes your way soon :D
