I'm taking it I'm in a unique situation that nobody else can replicate or is currently in.

If you mean to say that nobody on here has enjoyed a 10%+ increase in their investments in the last 3 or so years, I can tell you there are plenty of people who have, on and off this forum.

If you mean to say that nobody else has the guarantees and insurance you said you have, you are right. I would hazard a guess that you don't have either of these yourself.

If it's YOUR money that you have complete control over at ALL times and can withdraw IN FULL whenever you want, how did you give it to him to invest?

What are the mechanics of this?

I think he's probably given his log-on details for the "guy" to use. That's why he keeps finding the need to reassure us that the same guy can't withdraw the money without it going into OP's own linked account.

Just sounds so fishy, and I'm sure deep down OP probably feels the same otherwise why would you even post up to "ask" for opinions.
Stephen Covey once said that "when you teach once, you learn twice". That is the primary reason for my participation on the forums as an IFA.

Although I strive to provide accurate information in my posts, there may be the odd time when I fail. Yes I know it's hard to believe but even Your Hero can make mistakes. Apologies in advance.

My original question was does anybody have experience of 10% yearly gains.

On a consistent basis. No. Nor would I expect to.

Day trading pops up as a fad every so often. However there is always the unknown. That results in a loss.
