I'm bookmarking this one for when it all goes tits up.
Already withdrawn way more than that.
I now recall why I left this forum in the first place. I'm taking it I'm in a unique situation that nobody else can replicate or is currently in. Not even anybody in a scam.
Absolutely no point in continuing here really is there.0 -
My original question was does anybody have experience of 10% yearly gains
Yes. If you had invested solely in UK mid caps 10% plus a whole lot more over the past 5 years is what you would have got, and I am sure there are other sectors where this is true too. You could argue that those who plumped for mid caps in 2009 were geniuses, but in reality they were undiversified and therefore reckless and just plain lucky.
By the way Buffett brought Tesco at its peak so even the best screw up.Edible geranium0 -
If the trading account is in your name, I'd be interested in seeing a snapshot of your investments (you can remove the values).0

Thanks for your post very well structured and informative. I'm happy I've got something legitimate and that works. Yes there is risk, but it is my own account setup by me and I can see all the trades from start to finish.0 -

I've already told you (in not so many words) that I do know of people who were making those sorts of gains in the same sort of situation.
Then the 'friend of a friend' got banged up and it all went !!!!-shaped.0 -

Not the same situation I'd hazard a guess from here. That'd be people giving your accountant cash. If my guy got arrested (which he ain't) then my money stays with me.0 -

Sorry beyond me technically and I'm not on here to prove myself or anybody else. It's a forum I wanted to ask a question nothing more.
If you've been removing cash from your account, it shouldn't be beyond you technically to also look at your investments.
If your question is should you put any more money in this, then my answer is "no".0
