  • Nothing being bought here, go me, I used up a Garnier Oil Infused lotion sachet, quite liked that but not buying it just because I liked it when there is a stash to be used. May look for it on offer sometime.

It's just possible that I may have to buy shampoo before the end of the year. I've gone from someone with something like 4 shampoos and 2 shampoo bars all in use to 2 in use now and 1 nearly empty.

I did the maths with what I think I have left in the 2 bottles allowing 6.5 ml per shampoo and it was fairly tight. However I have used shower gels as shampoo more than once and there's lots of that left.

Lots of conditioner left too as I've bought 2 bottles of that this year and already had a fair bit. I'm on my last Hydro Urea foot cream, wah, this is the A!di Specialbuy that comes round once a year. I don't think I have anything left that can be repurposed as foot cream, all the hand creams have been used over the year.
Welcome to all newbies, this is a lovely thread and very friendly.

"not buying it just because I liked it"

You are so disciplined! :T *takes notes*

I hope that your foot cream A!di Specialbuy comes around soon :)

Kiss Prudence - lovely to see you back :) I'm glad that you had a lovely time on hols - Devon is so beautiful.

No used ups to report. I have a few splutterers though.

I painted my nails this afternoon and most of the polish has worn off after I had a bath this evening! It was a Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure polish, so (in theory) no need for a base coat or top coat

Willowbee - it could be that the polish needed longer to set before coming into contact with hot water.

smarter - I didn't get any shampoo in my boots magazine - :(.

I have finished a couple more things

Molton Brown Energising Seamoss Bath & Shower Gel 50ml, not my favourite of their scents so WNBA.

L'occitane Cherry Blossom Shower Gel 75ml, Very floral and nice but considering the price it did nothing that any other shower gel wouldn't do so WNBA.

I was just wondering if anybody else had done this. I don't have any body scrubs but don't actually intend to buy any more. What I do have is a few face scrubs that seem to be taking me an age to use up. Has anyone ever used a face scrub on their body before and if so was it worth doing? If not I might as well try and get some pennies for them.

Hi lynseydee. I've never done this however I have made my own body scrub in the past with coffee granules and baby oil. It worked really well although made a big mess of the bath.

  • Hola Beauty Queens

Haven't kept up with the thread for a few days as my sister and nieces have been here, just dropped them off at New St station for their train back to Edinburgh and haven't quite managed to stop blubbing yet :( Still, we all had a fantastic weekend and are full of promises to do it again very soon.

I have a couple of UU for you.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara Mini; WDBA and already have, I have another mini and a full sizer stashed.

Dove Go Fresh Nectarine and White Ginger Body Wash; WMBA, I was a bit disappointed in the scent as it's strong in the bottle but fades in use. I have another "flavour" to try next.

And I have one NBI too,

BS Absinthe Hand Cream 100ml; ordered home fragrance oils online as they had 40% off plus free delivery, it said at the time I would get a surprise freebie but I was expecting a couple of sachets or a mini -- no, it's a big tube :) Like the smell and I need to try and treat my mitts a bit better, given how much I abuse them at work. A very pleasant surprise.

Hope you're all well, I'll have a read back and catch up on all your news now :) xx

ok Ive sorted out a PP list

    7ml Urban Retreat Exfoliators
7ml Clinique all about eyes eye cream
    40ml Philip Kingsley Elstizer
    50ml LE Skin repair moisturiser
    30ml Elemis PCMC
    200Ml Napa mango body butter
200ml TBS cherry blossom body bbutter
    300ml Aussie Colour Mate shampoo
    300ml Aussie Beach mate conditioner
    118ml Laura Geller Spackle

Wanted to pop back to my PP list as I've had a flurry of UUs over the weekend.

From the list I have UUed:-

PK Elastizer (probably still misspelt!!). I ended up using this as a regular conditioner as it took too much faffing about to apply it pre-shower. WNBA - this actually came as a mag freebie anyway so a good way to try it cheaply.

Elemis PCMC - have two x 30ml pots left which should see me through to Christmas. Am thinking of suggesting to MrM that he buys me multiple sets of the Cancer Care kit rather than wait for the QVC TSV as I am ending up with multiple bath products. The Frangipani shower cream is lovely but I'm fed up of the Monoi oil and I really don't like the Rose and Jasmine bath milk. Have located a local Fb sale page and will put some on there I think.

NSPA mango body butter. Really impressed by this product. I still love TBS body butters (esp the Cherry Blossom and Shea type) however this NSPA one is very similar to the Boots Extracts ones in fragrance and texture. WBA. In fact have a Grapefruit one to use. Was very disappointed by the new NSPA fragrances though as I was going to get the Pachouli one at weekend. I couldn't smell anything! Money saved I suppose.

Elemis Rose & Jasmine bath milk. Had about half the bottle left (full size) but really can't stand this so chucked the lot into my bath last night. Needed a bath as I had done the Biggest Loser workout on Saturday morning (haven't done this since before my hols) and my legs were (and still are) killing me. This product makes my skin feel really silky but I can't stand the smell.

LE IBST - I'd forgotten that I had decanted the last of my full sized bottle into my 30ml spritzer bottle. Anyway the spritzer was emptied this morning too. Have another full sized in my stash so hopefully this will keep us going until Christmas too.

So all in all I have 2 items left on my PP list: LE Skin Repair which is cut open and probably won't last longer than a few days now and Urban Retreat Exfoliator which I had only just opened but considering it was only 7ml in size I didn't think would last very long. Will see.

Getting back to body scrubs ie last post I actually remembered to use mine on Saturday and the amount of dry skin that came off my legs when I applied my body butter was a bit gross.

I also made a foot soak from a recipe given to me at work which was fab. You mix one cup (although I used a ramekin) of mouth wash with one cup of white vinegar with warm water and let your feet soak. Noticed a remarkably difference and then used my PediPro on them too. Applied L'occitane foot cream afterwards (getting to the end of this tube too).

Has anyone ordered the L'Occitane TSV? I haven't as I'd realistically only need the hand wash and eco refill and don't want to spend the amount for the kit. I did see a new skincare range on QVC at weekend which I want to try but again don't want to spend just yet - called Flora Mare. It's made largely from Platinum and algae and I was wondering whether it would compare favourably to PCMC. Apparently there are loads of rave reviews on QVC about it.

Anyway gonna go and get lunch. x

  • Two more UUs from my shower this morning:

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Mask: WNBA. It makes my skin really dry and I'm sure there are better masks out there.

Gilette Shaving Foam: WBA. And still have loads in stock. Plus I don't care if it's the "male" or "female" version since I don't see a difference :D

That's it for now :) Wish you all a beautiful and calm evening :T

FizzWhizz - Not trying to tempt you but yesterday I noticed a good GWP offer on Estee Lauder at Debenhams, you get £10 worth of points on the beauty club card for a £50 spend too, it might be a good deal for you to get your eye cream.

    Just a quick post

    UU's
So white bath ballistic WBA love this one, I have been saving my last few as it's one of my favourites.

SBC 3 in 1 face wash WNBA I found it too soapy and ended up finishing it as a bathroom cleaner. Really like the pump bottle, so I will keep it and use it with another facial cleanser.

One in at the weekend - a freebee mum to be kit from an email blog connected to boots. Now own a mini baby oil (just right for the grooming kit box!) a baby bath thing (smells lovely - don't fancy it's chances of making it to January!) and some bum cream. Oh, and a pack of granola for me. Can get anothe freebee in a few weeks time I think, be rude not to!! :)
