Vodafone contract after retentions offer
Options
Hi guys - I'm at work today and so cannot call, but before I left a letter/thanks for staying pack from Vodafone arrived saying that my contract is for £48/month along with my 20% EAP discount. It says nothing about the 45% discount retentions gave me to renew. Is the retentions discount something that is applied when my bill is due or is it something that should be showing up on my online account and on their confirmation letter that they've just sent? I find it very odd that there's nothing in writing about the offer they made to keep me.

I've just been told by Vodafone that I can't have two discounts on my account at once - so despite there being a 45% discount in place, they cancelled this when the my 20% Employee Advantage discount was added.
Is this correct that I'm not entitled to both discounts?0 -

Probably yes. Sky do something similar. Nice of them to cancel the 45% and leave the 20 though.0 -

Yeah - typical Vodafone!
I can't access the terms and conditions and will check when I get home, but I suspect that you're probably correct. Oh well. I'm still getting a really good deal that beats what I was paying with EAP and on a much better plan with a brand new latest phone.0
