just wanted to say big hugs for you.You can be proud of yourself for making a good start to address your problems.Depression is a horrid illness-l suffer from it myself and understand how hard it is to even comb your hair let alone think about anything complicated like a SOA.Just do it when you are ready.Agree with others that you may need extra or a different medication as we all responde to different types and doses so go back to doctor-hopefully hthey can help. take care:j this money saving is such fun:T0

Hi poppyjay
This will be the third thread you have started in recent days and as much as I sympathise with you, eventually people may get feed up with you doing this.
Can I just remind you of this;
"Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps. "
People will NOT get fed up of poppy's posts because this board is a place for support. If you sympathise with poppy in any way why do you feel it necessary to post such a negative & hurtful post at a time when someone is already VERY VERY LOW & on anti depressants?
If you understand depression at all the you will know that feeling the way poppy does is quite normal. Possibly in future if you feel unable to be supportive when someone is feeling so dreadful already then it would be best not to post at all until you are able to feel more positive? It is also not a prerequisite that people post their SOA to get support, it is personal choice and some (like me!) choose not to do so for various reasons & in no way means that they should not be supported.
While recognising your frustration please try to remember that we are here to help each other through the devastating effects of debt and all that goes with it....a positive post goes a long way

poppy big hugs for you...sorry you're feeling so low. Just remember you are doing all you can. Have a chat with your OH & GP and have a huge hug from me. You will get there in the end & while it seems hopeless at the moment things will improve...just plug away & accept that it will take time. Its very early days for you at the moment and once the shock, sorting etc is done things will feel better. This is the worst bit for you, Incidentally you have almost the same amount as me so we'll be here in the long haul togeather! Have you rung CCCS or any of the other free ones? Let us know if we can help & DONT STOP POSTING!!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Just wanted to say I'm sorry you are feeling very low poppyjay - do do do do do do keep posting on the thread you start and let people know how you feel, if it helps you at all to do so.
I agree with hypno about trying to concentrate on the positives in your life - and also with those that have said perhaps another visit to the GP if things don't seem to be getting any better.
We often take our loved ones patience and understanding for granted don't we? Take a little time each day to reassure your loved ones that you do love them and that you will not be like this forever (because you won't) and that they just need to bear with you for a while.
And remember - as long as you are doing your best re: paying back your debts, then really try not to let it cloud everything as it's just not worth it.
You've already paid some debts off - well done for that! :T
You will pay more off. You will get there.
Unfortunately for all of us, it doesn't tend to happen overnight - I wish! So cut yourself some slack - and hug your children. Sounds like you could both do with it.
Take care.
