are you claiming any benefit 'top up' for your wife?
if she only works a few hours , but you still receive some benefit for her....
she would have to attend a WFI0 -

my wife is on esa support group..its a joint claim so i presume she claims for me..others are saying i still have to turn up for this wfi for partners?

are you both sick/disabeld or is it just your wife?
is it her ESA claim ( with you added as a partner) or do you both claim ESA ?
if it is her ESA claim, with you added onto it as the non/sick/disabled partner, then yes, you do have to attend WFI's. regardless of which group she is in0 -

an 'income related top up' is paid when one of a couple claims contributions based ESA.
it is them possible to claim a 'top up' when the household income is lower than it would be if it was a joint income related claim0 -
