Does my broadband usage increase if I view video clips on Youtube and BBC iPlayer or does it increase only if I download them?

Yes it counts towards your usage, it doesn't matter if you stream content or download it, it all counts, as does anything you upload0

If you are considering a package with limited broadband , be aware that lots of people have posted , saying that they have had to pay large excess fees when going over the limit (easily done if you stream).0
