My Mum was looking at mine enviously!
I have cancelled my GB for now, really overstocked with mascara and ugly nail varnish!!!!
BB gave me the beauty blender and a few other gems so sticking with that for now!
Yes to the "really overstocked with mascara and ugly nail varnish"!! :rotfl: Why can't they just send out colours that are classy, that most people would like? At the moment I'm after a nice dark burgundy/wine colour, quite vampish sort of shade, something like that would have been great for winter.
I'm keeping my GB until after Christmas incase it's a good one in December! Then I'll probably cancel it.0 -
I got the dark pink / blue black one. My daughter (who is only 4), put it on her head and said she was a ghost and ran round the living room! Finally got it back from her though0

What's everyone's experience with Birchboxes like, I tried Glossybox a few years back and I wasn't sure about it?:think::think:

I've had a Birchbox subscription for about 4 months now and I'm really enjoying it, but that's from a Living Social deal so a bit cheaper than usual. I find there's usually at least one product in each box that justifies me getting it. I've only ever had one GlossyBox myself so can't really compare the two.0 -

I got it for a few months but thought the boxes were poor and so I cancelled it. Tiny samples of stuff I wouldn't use, and crap nail polishes. I prefer GB, although I'm starting to get abit sick of that one too.0 -
Must admit, prefer the Memeboxes as can try products that are completely different to the UK boxes. I love the Lisa Pullano box as its a really good mix of different items and am looking forward to receiving the CutiepieMarzia box early next month when its sent.
I see the UK got slightly different beauty products from their French counterparts with their My Little Box as well. Just hope they don't start skimping with items over the months as the first box didnt contain the magazine (though this month it is included). I'd like the French products (one of the reasons for signing up as wanted to try some different things from what's available over here).0 -

I have a birchbox subrscription but I used a special offer for it. I don't like it so much. The value is good but most of the products are small samples... But I have received a couple of good products.
I had a glossybox subscription, it was so and so but at least I got some full size products. After 6 months I had too many things I wasn't going to use so I stopped the subscription.
At the moment I prefer YBD (cheap and you choose what you get) and memebox. You will have to wait probably a long time to get your memebox but most of the items are full size and you can choose between a variety of boxes. e.g. I don't want boxes with make-up, I prefer to choose the colours that suit me. So I just buy memebox that I know will have skincare products.
You can always wait until the middle of the month to see what each box contains before you buy one.0 -
I'm curious.. what are your top fave items you've received over the course of your box subscriptions? I've only been receiving them the last 4 months, but my top faves were the beauty blender (of course!), a laquer and co lip crayon in a peachy coral and a highlighting pencil. The rest of the items haven't blown me away. Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

I liked the laquer and co lipstick and the beauty blender as well!
This is my top 5, as far as I can remember:
- Yves rocher anti wrinkle moisturiser (that was glossybox-full size)
- Pore control powder serum by skinhouse (full size memebox)
- beauty blender (full size - birchbox)
- laquer and co lipstick - purple (sample - birchbox)
- 5 sec perfect blur (full size - pink parcel)0
