I found the process easy but strangely, after depositing £10k, they wouldn't give me access to my money for over 2 weeks. When I queried this they said it was due to the size of the deposit which was hardly that large. Since then it has been OK.
Take my advice at your peril.

Wow, lovingthemoney's complaint about Tesco has had a huge effect on their share price! o_O

    Complaining really does work!
lol, though maybe just a teeny bit helped by slashing their dividend 75%

Perhaps more importantly though, I'm always forgetting where my phone is :rotfl:

which of course is clearly Tesco's fault :wall:

We have opened 2 isas and 5 savings accounts online with Tesco , never have we had to sign anything or had any issues , we can access all of them via their Tesco Bank mobile app and the online process is simpler than many others . Well done Tesco .
  • I had a 2 year bond with Tesco which matured recently and because I wasn't reinvesting the whole amount back into Tesco they had to transfer the sum out to my designated bank. Then when I tried to transfer the money back the maximum inbound transfer was limited to 10k on their website. They did eventually manage to transfer my money back using my debit card but again Tesco had placed a limit on the amount that could be debited so that meant opening two accounts and transferring by debit card twice. Note it was Tesco that imposed the limit not my bank as I checked with them. I know that in the past I had no problem transfer money into a Tesco bond in one lump sum so they have obviously changed things for the worst.
