MSE Sky 50% Deal

Options
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any alternative deal on fibre broadband instead of the standard free broadband in the offer?
Cheers,

    Hey again,
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me, hoping to get something ordered this evening.
I was hoping there would be some money off a fibre package in lui of the free adsl option.
Especially since a friend who has a code isn't in a sky llu adsl area (can't order Sky Broadband Lite/Unlimited) - only fibre is available.
    Thanks in advance,

50% off for 6 months is the standard offer on the Sky website.

Try calling them or do a live chat if you want more, but it's by no means definite that they will improve the website offer for fibre.

    Hey mije1983,
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your reply.
6 month half price on fibre, does that apply to Fibre Broadband Pro (80/20) too?
    cheers,

  • hi all hope you can help

im trying to get an order in for this as a new customer. My other half currently has sky but is now out of contract and is able to cancel.

I was hoping to start as a new customer in my name (I've done this a few years ago so I know it works).

The whole package goes through and im able to have it installed a day or 2 after the current one has been totally cancelled (30 days).

The problem im having is the bb and phone, it shows there is an active line at my property already so I can add bb and phone.

Not a problem I thought, as I can add this when the other has been cancelled and a new one has been set up. However Im worried I will lose my landline number then as it's connected to sky line rental.

is this the case and how can I get around this?

    thanks

Yes you may lose your number. There will also be a cease charge to pay when you cancel the phone line, possibly a reconnection one when you take out the new deal, and unlike the TV it's not a quick switch back on depending on current lead times!

Would it not be a lot less hassle for your other half to just call up and negotiate a retention deal?!?
