DW Gym - want to cancel the day after I signed up

Hmm. Alternatively, I see they threaten to cancel membership for anti-social behaviour. If I print t-shirts insulting every single major religion and a few minority groups as well for my workouts, do you think that should do the trick?
Be simpler to walk in with a T Shirt saying "I am an @rse" on it.
Then everyone, and not just us on MSE, would know

Shame that the News of the Screws was closed down as you sound like just the type of "journalist" they would have jumped at employing - incapable of doing proper research and not averse to utilising dirty tricks/illegal activities.0

You have no idea if the reviews you saw online are accurate. Surely you should have judged the quality of the facilities for yourself when you did a tour of the gym?
You can't just blackmail your way out of this. I can't see that you have anything whatsoever for a local paper to write about - signing up for a 6 month gym contract and then wanting to cancel it is hardly news.
Just go to the gym, use it for 6 months and then switch to the new one if you want to.0 -
you cannot demand a refund because someone else complained. You need to show that your contract has been breached0

I fear you wont only lose your membership but may get a criminal record too.Hmm. Alternatively, I see they threaten to cancel membership for anti-social behaviour. Just wait it out and if you come across problems then come back and see if it is a breach of the contract if it is as bad as people say0 -
Clearly the answer is, that if these problems really exist, complain every time. Do so politely and legally, but in a way they cannot ignore you. They will get fed up of dealing with you, and will let you go.0

It does seem a little odd to me that they've had these complaints and done nothing about them..
I've been to four different DW gyms in the space of a month and found them all to be of a great standard. I've also never once had to queue for a piece of equipment, what time of day are you going?0
