Motorola Moto G - can you separate ringing and notification volumes

I'd like be able to set different volumes for ringing and notifications.
Currently both are linked together so it's not possible.
Is there a way to sort this.
Positive help would be appreciated.

You could replace the stock software with CyanogenMod, or root the phone and use Xposed.
No simple way, basically.0 -

Google/Android decided a number of releases ago (4.1 I think) that you didn't want to be able to set separate volumes.
They know better than you
