You could try making a paste of bicarbonate of soda and lemon juice. Leave it on for a while, remove then buff to a shine. It may not work but worth a try.

I might give that a go thanks, I just thought they were beyond help really but anything that might work is worth it. Cant look any worse than it does I dont think :)

Just a thought, but if you take off the handle, it sometimes has manufacturers name inside.

Nothing inside or on the front unfortunately, I have taken them off, and even took them to the diy stores to see if they knew, but no luck.

Why don't you spray paint the old handle?

    Or am I missing something?

Thanks, sorry if this sounds like a daft question but what would i spray them with, never thought of that either.

  • your handle looks unusually long, the only one i can think of that may fit would be http://www.fabnfix.co.uk/store/products/the_e_series/door_handles/other_door_handles/universal_lever_lever_door_handle/

dut as dhframes said you need to get the measuring tape out

I would go with standard car spray paint, if it will last on a car body it should be fine on a door handle.
