i am on £25 per month for (fibre) broadband only
i've just had the letter about the bills going up so i can leave if i want.
TBH i have found the speeds pretty poor and often the internet does not even work for short periods.
i wonder if i phone up to leave virgin if they might offer me a better deal - either cheaper or more speed etc. what sort of retention offer can i expect?

There's quite a lot of info on this topic in https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1021885
In short though the answer is yes but if it's slow and unreliable why would you want to stay?0 -
Just done this very thing today and got a 12 month contract for less than I was originally paying over 12 months ago!0
